There are three main types of fridge freezers that you can consider when you want to buy a new fridge freezer. Before you choose, you should always consider the size and layout of your kitchen, as this will make a real difference to the style that you go for.

Freestanding – one of the most affordable varieties of fridge freezer that you can buy, there are always plenty of choices when it comes to freestanding fridge freezers. This means that no matter your budget, or preference of brand or style, you are likely to find the fridge for you. The positive of this type of fridge freezer is that you can put it anywhere you need to in your kitchen, even taking them with you should you decide to move. The drawback however, is that they may not fit in with the style of your kitchen, creating a bit of an eyesore.

Integrated – a built in style of fridge freezer, if you opt for an integrated style, then it will be tucked behind a door within your kitchen. This is ideal if you like the idea of your fridge freezer blending into your kitchen. They can be more expensive than the freestanding style, and if you opt for an integrated model, then chances are that you will find that you have less choices.

American – if space isn’t an issue for you, then you may decide that you can splurge out on an American style fridge freezer. Offering a side by side style, these are not only stylish but they make for a great focal point in your kitchen. They usually pack plenty of space inside and come with a variety of enhanced features too. However, they are expensive and they will take up plenty of floor space within your kitchen.
