An error message on your Samsung dishwasher indicates a problem. Here’s a helpful reference list so that you can identify what the issue is and what steps are needed.
Error code: 1E or IE
Problem: Clogged filter
Solution: This error code indicates a clogged filter. Please clean the filter at the bottom of your Samsung dishwasher.
Error code: 3C
Problem: Pump failure
Solution: Please try to reset the appliance. Turn off the dishwasher first and then try to re-start the cycle again. If the error persists please call our repair team for advice.
Error code: 3E
Problem: Water is too hot
Solution: Around 80C is a good temperature. Please check the hot water supply is not set above 80C. If the water temperature is below 80C and the error still occurs, you need to call a professional dishwasher repair technician.
Error code: 4C or 4E
Problem: Water supply error – issue with water pressure or temperature
Solution: Check if water supply is turned on. If the problem persists please call us for advice.
Error code: 5C, SC, 5E or SE
Problem: dishwasher can’t drain
Solution: Check the dishwasher’s drain connection and the drain hose. Try cleaning the drain, filter and sump in the tub.
Error code: 7E
Problem: reflector error
Solution: Check that the reflector is not blocked and make sure the packing tape has been removed from the reflector.
Error code: 9E
Problem: Low water level – there is not enough water in the machine
Solution: Turn off the machine, empty the appliance, turn on the dishwasher and add detergent, run a normal empty cycle. If the problem persists please call our repair team for advice.
Error code: AP
Problem: Your Samsung dishwasher is in Access Point Mode (APM)
Solution: Please turn off the dishwasher and turn it back on again.
Error code: bE, 6E
Problem: buttons are stuck
Solution: Turn off your Samsung dishwasher and touch every button on the panel. If any buttons are not working correctly please arrange a repair visit.
Error code: CE
Problem: CE error code means Communication Error (CE)
Solution: Turn off your Samsun dishwasher and try to re-start it again.
Error code: HC, 1E, IE
