Hotpoint Dishwasher

F01 – the First Code of Errors

The first code which you may encounter is F01. This error message is indicative of an anti-flooding overflow taking place. As an issue, this isn’t one that you can fix yourself, and so we advise you get in contact with a professional.

F02 – More Problems

Moving on sequentially, we’ll be looking at the next message. The Hotpoint error code F02 is to warn you that there is a failure within the water fill solenoid valve, and is again something that you won’t be able to fix for yourself.

F03 – Drains

If you happen to experience fault code F03, then you’re going to be dealing with something you might be able to fix. This error code is only going to pop up when there’s been a failure to drain the water from the machine. If you’re feeling up to it, you can check around where the water pours in your device and assess if there are any blockages. If there are, then you might want to consider removing them.

F04  – Temperature Control

The fourth error code that you might encounter with your dishwasher is F04. This fault message tells you that you’ve got a problem with the thermostat. Unfortunately, you can’t do anything about that, so it’s time to consult a professional.

F06 and F07 – Partners in Crime?

Fault codes F06 and F07 are very similar; they both feature problems which connect to the water in your machine. For that reason, we’ll be looking at them both in rapid succession. Fault code F06 is telling you that there’s a problem with the water fill function, and you can resolve this by checking if the water supply is connected correctly, and also that the fill hose is working without restrictions. F07, on the other hand, means that the water turbine is damaged, and so you’ll need to see a professional.

F08 – Temperature, We Hardly Knew Ya

Fault code F08 is a problem with the temperature timeout. It’s about as simple as that, and you’ll need to see an engineer because you won’t be able to fix it for yourself.

F09 – Computer Says No

Not all codes have to do with the temperature gauge or the water levels. The F09 message is there to tell you that there’s a software error within your machine. If you want to fix it, then you’re going to need to take it to a professional because few can properly take apart this type of machine and put it back together safely.

F10 – Heating Problems Again

With the fault code F10, we’re unfortunately back in the world of heating problems. Specifically, the heating element is the component which has developed an issue, and that’s not something you can fix.

F11 – Wash Pump Goes Wrong

F11 is another one of those irritating faults which you can’t fix without the aid of a trained professional like us. Its a failure with the wash pump, which you can’t sort out for yourself.

F12 – Problem With the Problem Display

An F12 fault code means that there’s an error with the display communication and the main board. Ironic considering that these are what give you information about mistakes and general processes, but also something you’ll need a professional to fix.

F13 – Unlucky Fault

F13 is the penultimate error code on the list, and it points to a failure of the main board. This problem is again, something you can’t fix for yourself so give a pro a call.

F15 – The Final Problem

F15 is the last of the error codes that you’re going to encounter with your machine. It tells you that there is an error with the visual sensor, and will again require a professional to help you fix it.

All in all, these are the different faults which you may experience with your Hotpoint dishwasher. Knowing what the problem is when you contact a professional for help makes the whole process that bit easier, so we encourage you to refer back to this when something isn’t right!
